John Frieda Go Blonder Spray?

I am a natural, golden blonde, and I want to lighten my hair to a different blonde. I know it's made with peroxide, so it should get me there eventually. I just wanted to know what would happen if I stopped using the spray and let my natural golden blonde come back in? Would it look bad? Having half platinum and half gold? I am not dying my hair to get it all to match. I don't want to be stuck on a product forever if my natural color is really pretty, and all I want is a temporary change. Just tell me your opinion on how it'd look. Thanks :)
