Do darker than natural lips look bad with bronzer/a tan?

When I wear bronzer, should I wear lip shine/lipstick that makes my lips slightly darker than my natural lip shade (my natural lip color is pinker than most) or skip it? Will too much darkened tone make me look gross? I have naturally fair skin and wear a light mosaic powder bronzer. I have a round face, slightly full lips, and my hair is brown and slightly longer than shoulder length. Thank you!
