How do you kill weeds in the pond without killing my wife;s pink lilly pad flowers and fish ?

We have these patches of grass and have tried getting them out with the rake , they just kep growing back, we don't want to hurt the fish or our aquatic flowers. Do you recommend any type of chemical?
