My mothers car got impounded for 30 days we spoke to the sargeant of the police dept what do u think will happ?

she does food deliveries sinse shes disabled she cooks the food and my licensed brother delivers it but tuesday the moron got lazy an desided to have one of his buddys make the delivery who didnt have one but told him he did now my mother is so distraught rent is here on top of all the fees this fool raked up that was her only means to make it. We went and spoke to the sargeant who really wasnt too understanding but deffinitely heard us out but he said that he couldnt do anything that day but to give him a call monday to see what was going to happen. I mean i dont want to get our hopes up but do u guys think he could give us the release from the sounds of it i mean he did hear us out thanks a lot guys for hearing me out.
