Why do some insist Waterboarding got bin Laden when these experts insist it didn't?

Many CIA interrogators and heads of the CIA have said it was waterboarding. Dick Cheney also said it as well. Don't believe the Obama administration, they like to treat terrorists like american citizens, which is why im sorta shocked that Obama had bin laden killed, or bin laden would have all the rights of a U.S. citizen because thats obama!
