Why wont my queen ant rake care of her eggs.?

I recently captured some ants. They are all argentine ants. I caught one queen, 3 alates(I dont know what genders they are), and 10 workers. I do not yet have a suitable ant farm(I want a realistic one not an uncle milton style.) so they are living in a two test tube setup. On the first day all of the workers slowly left their queen and went to the test tube with water and food. Eventually the queen went to them and they were fine for about a day. Then one alate and two workers died. The queen has layed two eggs but is ignoreing them. Argentine ants are polygamous so it should not matter but they are not doing anything. I thought the test tube was too dry so I added a one that follows a test tube setup, but the workers will not even move. They only sit there eating and drinking while surveying the test tube. When will they start taking care of the eggs.
