Can you dye your hair light blonde without bleaching it if your hair is already a dirty blonde color?

My hair is a dirty blonde color now that I'm older, but when I was younger I was naturally platinum blonde. I was hoping that I could restore my hair color to that platinum blonde...or something close. The catch is, I don't want to put chemicals in my hair to get the color I want because I'm afraid of damaging my hair so is there any natural way I can get the color I want?
